Personal bests: 58-11, shot; 159-4, discuss
Ramirez broke through as a junior last season, posting fourth-place finishes in the shot and discus at the Sandy Invitational, winning the Wilsonville Invite discus and taking second in both throws at the Dean Nice Invitational. He won the Northwest Conference district shot title and placed fourth at 5A state in that event while taking third in the discus. He’s started this season by throwing a personal-best 58-11 in winning the Cotton Invitational, and he threw a career-best in the discus to win this year’s Sandy Invitational.
Coach Roland Aumueller says: “Noah is an easy athlete to coach because he always listens and follows instructions. He is a leader on and off the field because he is respected by all his peers, not just athletes. He has an incredible work ethic yet still stays humble through all the accolades he receives.”
